I use a professional quality silk dye that requires steam setting to fix it into the
fibre. The scarves have also been rinsed to remove any excess dye. I recommend
handwashing your scarf. Any water temperature is fine. Use a mild soap such as liquid
Ivory, Lemon Fresh Joy, or your favorite silk washing soap.
The colors in your scarf will not fade or run. However, with some colors, like
reds, you can expect the wash water to become slightly pink. Don't panic!! -- the colors
in your scarf will be just as intense as before.
Towel dry and hang to finish drying, or when still damp, iron on a medium setting.
You may dry clean if you prefer.
